European Indices Incline Boosted By Earnings

Finally the European indices inclined in the mid-session boosted by the continuous better than expected earnings, as today we’ve seen Dell’s Inc and L’Oreal SA, along with the rising commodity prices that managed to boost shares.       

As off 06:01 EST, Dow Jones euro stoxx 50 added 1.27% or 35.16 points reaching 2812.78 levels,

As off 06:05 EST, the British FTSE 100 Index added 0.97% or 47.43 points reaching 4916.78 levels, the index opened at 4869.35 levels to record a high of 4926.57 and a low of 4869.35 levels, having 82 shares boost the index and 19 decline leaving one unchanged. Financials, Basic materials, Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and finally Consumer Goods added 13.75, 13.24, 9.08, 4.06 and 3.96 points respectively to benchmark, whereas Health Care deducted 0.56 points from benchmark.  

As off 06:10 EST, the French CAC 40 Index added 1.36% or 49.62 points reaching 3698.15 levels, the index opened at 3680.96 levels to record a high of 3705.77 and a low of 3667.80 earlier in the session, having 36 shares boost the index leaving 4 shares to decline.  Consumer Goods, Industrials, Consumer Services and Financials added 13.18, 11.29, 7.54 and 6.80 points respectively to benchmark, whereas Telecommunications shed 3.59 points from benchmark.

As off 06:16 EST, the German DAX index added 1.30% or 71.00 points reaching 5541.80 levels, the index opened at 5512.17 levels recording a high of 5559.98 and a low of 5504.30 earlier in the session, having 27 shares boost the index and 3 declines. Basic Materials, Financials, Industrials and Utilities added 19.53, 14.77, 14.15 and 11.64 points to benchmark.

As off 06:22 EST, Swiss Market Index added 0.98% or 60.50 points reaching 6229.69 levels, the index opened at 6203.49 levels to record a high of 6232.73 and a low of 6188.16 earlier in the session, having 16 shares to boost the index and 4 declined. Financials, Consumer Goods, Industrials and Health Care added 24.39, 14.61, 8.69 and 8.39 points to benchmark.
